I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth and of all things visible and
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all ages, God
of God, Light of Light, very God of very God, begotten not made, being of one substance with the Father,
through Whom all things were made: Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven, was
incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man: Who for us, too, was crucified under
Pontius Pilate, suffered, and was buried: the third day He rose according to the Scriptures, ascended into
heaven, and is seated on the right hand of the Father: He shall come again with glory to judge the living
and the dead, and His kingdom shall have no end.
And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of life, Who proceeds from the Father and the Son: Who
together with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified: Who spoke by the prophets.
And I believe one holy, Christian, and apostolic Church.
I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins, and I look for the resurrection of the dead and life of
the age to come.
The spirit of the dress code is modesty and professionalism with the intent to glorify Christ. The goal is
to minimize the focus on the body or outward appearance and maximize the focus on the development
of ideas and communication skills. Students should wear modestly fitted clothing. Ladies are asked for
no tank tops, no midriffs showing, no low-cut blouses, no short skirts, and no shorts. Gentlemen are
asked to wear collared shirts, close-toed shoes, and no shorts. For both genders, t-shirts are
not permitted with the exception of NCFCA and BVRC t-shirts. Occasionally, tournament attire will be requested so students can practice
wearing the clothing required at tournaments.
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my
Redeemer. –Psalm 19:14!
All students are to stay within the geographical boundaries set by the administration of the facilities we
use and are to strictly adhere to all established rules and regulations of the host facility.
All club members (students and parents) are to exhibit a kind, polite, and respectful attitude toward
others at all times and behave in a manner that brings glory and honor to God. Public displays of
affection, including flirting and romantic relationships, are not appropriate for any BVRC or NCFCA
Actions of club members should be professional and courteous at all times. Discipline should not be an
issue at any club event, including camps, club meetings, and tournaments. Members are responsible
for their actions. Negative attention brought to the club by any member will not be tolerated because it
reflects on the entire club in a negative manner.
Club members and parents should attempt to resolve any issues or problems in a biblical manner as
outlined in this Code of Conduct form and the club bylaws. Specifically, conflicts will be resolved
according to Matthew 18:15-17, whereby the offended goes directly to the offender to resolve the issue,
refraining from gossip and rumor. Email communication is not considered ‘going directly’. If the matter
cannot be resolved, the procedure outlined in Article XII, Section 2 of the bylaws for completing a club
query form with two board members shall be followed. Any questions related to the bylaws, code of
conduct form, dress code, or issues in curriculum being taught by coaches should be addressed to the
PBD by filling out a query form so the matter can be handled in a prayer, efficient, and proper manner.
If a member fails to meet the membership requirements, or violates the club bylaws, Code of Conduct,
or facility rules, the PBD will offer the student and parent a written warning. Repeated violations may
involve revocation of the youth or family membership in question. Immediate revocation of membership
is a possibility depending on the severity of the situation. Final membership approval and revocation of
membership shall rest with the Parent Board of Directors.
